WHAT IS A PRESBYTERIAN?

The Presbyterian Church gets its name from the Greek word, "Elder."

What makes the Presbyterian Church "Presbyterian" is it is governed

by "presbyter/elders' and not biships' (Catholic & Episcopal) or

"congregations" (Congregational, Baptist, Non-Denominational).

The Presbyterian Church has been in America since the mid-1700's.
