Board of Stewards - commented on our pledge campaign and how much work and effort has gone into it from our board of stewards.
Finance - there was discussion around financial giving by the leadership (elders) of the church.
Christmas Eve is on a Sunday in 2023 and Pastor Caressa and Pastor Jordan proposed a 9:30am 4th Sunday of Advent Service and then our usual

Pastor Jordan was looking through our policies as he prepares for his sabbatical in 2024 and found that our policy document and the policy in the employee handbook were not consistent with one another. A cleaner version was made and presented to session to approve.

New Hope has a schedule of when we bring in the PCUSA and American Flag into the sanctuary. It was proposed to change the schedule to the following holidays: Independence Day, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day.
There was discussion around the fact that our current schedule has been working, so why change it.
There was a motion to instead take out President's Day and Labor Day. All the other dates follow the theme of recognizing our veterans, Labor Day and President's day didn't seem to fit into that them. It was brought to a vote.
