Welcome to New Hope

We believe church should:

  • Celebrate you, because you are made in God’s image;
  • Encourage questions and diversity of thought;
  • Help you discover God’s purpose for your life and how to live it well.

We strive to live out these statements by being a church that is open and affirming, a church that believes in grace and the worthiness of everyone.

We actively encourage you to live a life of love and service. We do this while realizing faith is a journey done best in community.

We encourage and challenge one another, serve and study together, and inspire self-reflection to deepen each of our individual relationships with God.

At New Hope, we put people first and work together to make our life about something

greater than ourselves and that reflects God's love.

Whether you are conservative or liberal; young, or old; gay, or straight; single, or married, grew up in the church or didn’t; unsure what you believe or certain, all are welcome here. Our differences make us better together.

Although church meets on Sunday, we believe the best example of being the church is how we live our lives throughout the week. Each day matters and our service to one another shows what it means when Jesus said: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” And, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

(Matthew 22:37-38)

If you’re looking for a church home, we welcome you to New Hope. The door is always open.

So Glad You're Here

I'm Pastor Russ Kane and I've had the privilege of being Pastor at New Hope for more than

20 years. I have found New Hope to be a vibrant and caring congregation that truly wants to

make a difference in this world. We are low on rules and religious jargon, and high on

inclusion and grace.

Below are some of our most commonly asked questions. If you have a specific question, please

don't hesitate to send us an email. We'll get an answer to you as soon as possible.

New Hope has been a place of new beginnings for many, perhaps it will be a new beginning for you.

What If I'm Not Presbyterian?

Don't worry, most of us weren't when we came to New Hope either.

While we are a part of the Presbyterian Church USA, most people come to New Hope not because of what it says on the sign outside, but because of the people on the inside.

People come from all different backgrounds (Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Non-Denominational, and even "No Background") and find that they feel right at home at New Hope. Come check us out and see for yourself. If you want to know more about Presbyterians, click on the button below.
