Hands of Hope 2026 - Projects

Inside projects

* Bread for the World and more:  writing to elected officials, putting together school kits.  Perfect option for those who want to stay out of the sun but still make an impact on those in need.

Where: Kane Hall
What you can bring: Yourself

* New Hope Kids:  This project is for kids in 1st grade or younger!  Task: Help and Hope bagging Dog Food.  For questions: contact Cindy Hazelhurst

Where: Kids and families will meet downstairs for the project. They will begin at 9:30am to help with timing. 3 hours is too long for the kids.
What you can bring: Supplies will be provided by Cindy

Lawn care/outside projects

Please consider sun protection and water for all outdoor efforts. 

* Evilsizer Household: Trimming some hedges, cleaning leaves out of gutters, gutter downspout repair

What you can bring: Work gloves, work clothes

* Ledoux Houshold: Lawncare

What you can bring: Work gloves, work clothes, rakes, hand trimmer, weed eater, shears

* Diane Wenger: Lawncare - raking up pine needles

What you can bring: Work gloves, rakes, yard bags

* Padalecki Household: Light yardwork (trimming some plants, spray painting patio furniture)

What you can bring: shears, hand trimmer/pruner, work clothes, work gloves (maybe rubber gloves for spray painting).  Spray paint will be provided!

* Gerstner Household:  Staining a playset, lawnwork

What you can bring: Work gloves, work clothes, yard tools (rakes, weed pullers, trimmers, pruner, etc.).  

South Ridge Elementary:  Still waiting on details but there may be two details, one  inside and one out.  

What you can bring: Work gloves, work clothes. We will provide more details as we get them. 

* Montoya Household: Yardwork, details TBD

What you can bring: Work gloves, work clothes, yard tools (rakes, weed pullers, trimmers, pruner, etc.). We will provide more details as we get them.

* Church exterior: Yardwork, details TBD but likely weed pulling,, trimming
