Today we embark on a new sermon series based on the book by Robert Schnase, "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations." As individuals and as a community of faith, we will listen and discern how our mission and ministry in the name of Jesus Christ can be more fruitful and life-giving!

In the gospel of John, Jesus tells his newly recruited disciples to "come and see" - come and see God's love at work in the world, come and see how you can put your faith into action, come and see how God wants you to love and serve others. Friends, we are called to come and see and to participate in God's work in this time and place.
