Our Mission and Vision
Find a Home - refers to our mission of providing a welcoming spiritual home where individuals can find belonging, acceptance, and support in their faith journey.

Build a Life - represents our dedication to supporting individuals in their personal and spiritual growth. We aim to equip and empower our community members to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop their faith, and navigate life's challenges with resilience and purpose.

Make a Difference - embodies our commitment to active service and outreach, both locally and globally. We encourage and equip our community to positively impact the world through acts of compassion, justice, and generosity.

Our Vision - At New Hope, we prioritize people and work together to reflect God's love, making our lives about something greater than ourselves. Regardless of your background, beliefs, sexual orientation, race, or political views, all are welcome here. Our differences strengthen us. Church extends beyond Sunday, as we strive to live out Jesus' command to love God and our neighbors every day. If you're seeking a church home, our doors are always open.

Our History
From the beginning, New Hope's founders established the church as a "frontier outpost" for a community still arriving. Our roots go back to the congregations of Louviers and Sedalia. These congregations started as mission fellowships in the early 1900s and grew into churches, which were chartered in the '20s and '30s.
After much prayer, dreaming and discussion, the two congregations decided to join forces and start a new church in Castle Rock.

The new congregation was appropriately named "New Hope" and chartered in January of 1989
Matthew 25 Church
We are a Matthew 25 church. The Matthew 25 invitation focuses on Matthew 25: 31-46, the parable of the sheep and goats in which Jesus makes clear, that what we do matters to God and how we treat others is important to God. You can learn more by clicking here.
Baptism and Communion
Baptism signifies entrance into the faith community. At New Hope, we celebrate both infant and believer's baptism. We honor all previous baptisms and do not re-baptize new members. If you would like to be baptized or have your child baptized, you can find our baptism form here.

Communion at New Hope, is an open table where all are welcome, as it is God's table. This invitation reminds us to live as Christ did, seeking reconciliation with Christ and with each other.
Funerals and Weddings
Funerals - It would be our privilege to host a service for your family to honor your loved one who has passed. For a guide on preparing a service at New Hope click here.

Weddings - A wedding celebrates God's gift of marriage and Christian discipleship. New Hope is an open and affirming church that celebrates all marriages between two people. New Hope is available to all to host your wedding.
Open and Affirming
New Hope has been an open and affirming church since 2015, celebrating and welcoming all individuals and marriages.

Our Values

Invite People to a Big Table

The table symbolizes God's Grace and Mission. We invite people through love, not guilt or fear, into God's mission through Christ.

Put People First

Christ lived, died, and rose again for people, not for doctrine or traditions. We prioritize loving people.

Joy in Serving

True joy comes from giving ourselves to God's purpose. We nurture gifts, talents, and passions to serve God's mission.

Finding the Sacred in the Ordinary

Christ lived, died, and rose again for everyone, making all places and people sacred. We will foster an awareness to the sacred around us.

Foster a Holy Discontent

We see conflict and discontent as guides to God's next steps, not enemies of peace.

Leadership

At New Hope, our leadership is committed to guiding and supporting our congregation with vision, integrity, and compassion. Our dedicated team, including our pastors, ministry directors, and staff, works collaboratively to nurture spiritual growth, foster community, and serve others. We strive to create an inclusive environment where every member feels valued, empowered, and encouraged to use their unique gifts to contribute to the life of the church and the wider community.
